HOAGY HARVEST CHICKEN BAKE

HOAGY HARVEST CHICKEN BAKE

Chicken + apples + butternut squash + bacon + Hurricane Hoagy = FALL MAGIC!

Ingredients

  • 1½ lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
  • 2 cups butternut squash, cubed
  • 1 large apple, chopped into bite-size pieces
  • ½ small red onion, sliced
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • ½ cup Hurricane Hoagy Original
  • ½ cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Optional: pecans for a little crunch

Let's Make It!

1. Preheat oven to 400°F.

2. Add chicken, butternut squash, apple and red onion to a large baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil and season with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt and pepper. Toss everything together.

3. Drizzle ½ cup Hurricane Hoagy Original over everything and toss until well coated.

4. Bake uncovered for about 30–35 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the squash is tender.

5. Sprinkle cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon over the top. Return to the oven for another 5 minutes, just until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

6. Top with green onions and, if you're feeling fancy, a sprinkle of chopped pecans.

HOAGY HACK

Want to turn up the fall flavor? Use Hurricane Hoagy Fire instead of Original! The creamy heat pairs surprisingly well with the sweet apple and roasted squash.

THE RESULT:

Creamy. Savory. Slightly sweet. A little smoky. A little spicy.

Basically… everything you want in a cozy fall dinner!
